Ricky had his first day of special day summer school yesterday. It went well aside from the bus abandoning him! The day care called in the morning to say that the bus hadn't shown up. I had to call the school district and get them to send "another" bus (they claimed one had already been there).
Day care was apparently a nightmare. The rest of the day care was on a field trip, and one teacher stayed behind to supervise the kids who'd been in summer school (including Ricky) and apparently Ricky didn't get something he wanted and proceeded to terrorize everyone -- the teacher and twelve other kids! Biting, raging, etc.
I called the psychiatrist in a panic and he was of little help, but we are adjusting his medication. The psychiatrist now thinks Ricky may be bipolar. He did very well on Wellbutrin (which gave him seizures) but does badly on other meds... And that's usually how bipolar kids react. So we'll figure out what happens next.
